Music at the Casa presents: Shirley Wang, Donna Topp and Judy Brown

Shirley Wang, Soprano

Chinese-American Soprano, a remarkably versatile singer-actress. Most recently, she has debuted with Los Angeles Metropolitan Opera as Aida which received critical acclaims. As a soloist, Ms. Wang has been heard in California, Washington, Idaho,Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Long Island, New Jersey, Florida, and New York City including the esteemed Carnegie Hall. A native of Taipei, Taiwan, Ms. Wang is a graduate of University of Southern California and a finalist for the NTDTV International Vocal Competition. Additionally, she operates a successful teaching studio for piano and voice in Central Florida.

Donna Topp, Pianist

Donna Dantz Topp, Pianist, graduated Cum Laude from Heidelberg University with majors in music (concentration on piano performance) and psychology. She received her Masters Degree from the State University of New York at Brockport and did further piano study at Eastman School of Music, Roberts Wesleyan College and Columbia University. Donna ran a private keyboard studio in Rochester, New York for many years; and she was Director of Music, Organist and Choir Director in several Rochester area churches. She also has served as an accompanist for choirs, theatre groups, and vocal and instrumental soloists in both Rochester and in Central Florida. In Ocala she has been an accompanist for the Marion Civic Chorale,

founded and directed the Oak Run Choraliers, as well as substituting as organist/pianist for many churches in the Ocala area.

Featuring Judy Brown, Pianist/Organist

Judy Brown, Pianist/Organist, studied organ at University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan and an active participant under Marilyn Mason’s Masterclass Series while attending University of Michigan. She has played in Catholic churches, accompanied choirs and ensembles and enriched the community with her educational contribution. In recent years she has offered community concerts in Volusia County with a full organ/piano recital in 2010 and many music for prayers concerts in Port Orange between 2010 and 2017. Mrs. Brown is a member of NPM (National Pastoral Musicians) and AGO (American Guild of Organists)
